PM@NHC

Saturday evenings

at 6:00 p.m.

We now have programs in place to prepare our children to participate in Fine Arts.  It's called hkfa/pm@nhc.  This is training of our kids in sign language, drama, human video, etc, and occurs during our pm@nhc service.  We feel it our duty to prepare our children for ministry in every capacity so they will be well-rounded in the ministry of The Word as well as The Arts.  For more info regarding hkfa (Highland Kids Fine Arts,)  see Chris Rentz.  You can reach her at the church (706) 561-7777, ext. 212.

HIGHLAND KIDS

The Children's Ministry

of North Highland Assembly

At North Highland we believe that all children need three things: A Place to Belong, A Place to Become and A Place to Believe.

We've always said that The Youth of Today Are The Church Of Tomorrow.  With that in mind, we constantly strive to implement programs that will provide the appropriate atmosphere for your children to grow physically, mentally and most importantly - spiritually.

NHA makes many programs available to your children to enhance their spiritual walk with God.  We teach them in a way that their young minds can understand it, through puppetry, dramas, skits, etc. (as well as the spoken Word of God.)   Let's take a look at what's available to Highland Kids.

10:30 A.M. - Sunday Morning Worship

"THE ZOO"  -   (3 Years Old)  -  Rooms 209, 210

"THE FARM"  -  (4-6 Years Old) - Room 205

"THE STUDIO"  -  (2nd - 6th Grades) - Room 301

Wednesday Night Alive  -  7:00 P.M.

MPact  (formerly known as Missionettes).   A discipleship program based on the principle of women mentoring girls.  Girls can begin from the age of 5 and continue through 6th grade.  The program is designed to teach and encourage girls to develop their God-given gifts and abilities.  Classes offered are Rainbows, Daisies, Prims and Stars.  They meet every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (Boys and Girls ages 3-4 meet in the Rainbows class.)

Royal Rangers:  Designed for young men ages 5 through 6th grade, the focus of Royal Rangers is to "Reach, Teach and Keep Boys for Christ."  Boys are taught the fundamental foundations:  Love of God, Love of Family,  Love of Others and Love of Nature.  We offer Royal Ranger classes every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  (Boys and Girls ages 3-4 meet in the Rainbows class.)

The Bridge:  Graduates from MPact and Royal Rangers go into this intermediate program designed to help them prepare for integration into our High School Ministry called REALife.  The age group for "The Bridge" is middle school (6th graders.)

We teach our children from an early age about giving.  Parents are asked to encourage their children to save all their spare  change in their "Buddy Barrels" to support BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade.)  This mission supports A/G missionaries in their fields of ministry in America and around the world.  Our children raised over $10,000 in 2004 in support of BGMC.  They make us proud.
