ADULT MINISTRIES
Connect2 is very similar to our Dynamic Duos; however this group is comprised of our younger couples They meet on a regular basis and enjoy doing energetic activities that most young people love. Food, fun, fellowship and spiritual enrichment are a part of the activities of these young folk participate in. Facilitators are Kevin & Stacey Baker.

Dynamic Duos
An exciting group for the more mature married couples. These meetings focus on fellowship and devotions. Duo activities range from covered dish dinners and volleyball to whitewater canoeing and snow skiing. (Don't let this scare you.) We mostly enjoy the calmer side of living.

Fifty Plus (50+)
Encompassing the age brackets of . . . you guessed it "50+". . . this group has taken chartered trips to Nashville, Tenn. to the Opryland Hotel for Christmas Eggstravaganza, Branson, Missouri, for all the shows, and other trips for just a great time of relaxation and being together. We encourage those in our fellowship who are 50 and over to participate in activities that promote spiritual growth, health and wholesome fellowship events.

Amén”.  Nuestra Iglesia es un microcosmo del cielo. Nuestra misión es ganar a los perdidos y hacer de ellos discípulos. Esperamos verle el domingo a la s 5 p.m. Que Dios le bendiga.

Thank you for visiting North Highland Assembly of God Church. Hispanic service is an extension of the ministries of our church.  We are a multicultural church where the presence and joy of the Lord rests over the congregation. We follow in a humble way the mandate given to us in “Matthew 28:18-20." Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  Our church is a microcosm of heaven. Our Mission is to save the lost and develop them into disciples. See you Sundays at 5 p.m. God bless you.

Men's Ministries
A program encouraging men to be strong in the work of the Lord. Men meet every Monday at 7:00 p.m. for a time of prayer and meet quarterly for food and fellowship. Retreats such as Promise Keepers and Honor Bound are annual events.

Men's Ministries is a vehicle for providing involvement and leadership to the men in our church. Honorbound: Men of Promise is the Assemblies of God men's fellowship. It is a new way of looking at oneself as a godly man. If a man can look at himself in the mirror and see himself as someone dressed in the full armor of God, ready to take on life as a man of honor, then we will have accomplished the vision of Honorbound: Men of Promise.

Reaching out to men and women confined behind walls. God is doing an awesome work through our prison team. Souls are continually being saved, healed and set free from the bondage of sin and satan. If you are interested in working with the Prison Team Ministry, contact Mrs. Zona McFarland at the email address listed above.

Singles
Our Single Adults meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. as a Bible Fellowship Group. We believe in recognizing the need and opportunity for ministry to and with single adults. We believe in reaching single adults through persistent prayer, planning and relevant resources. Restoration of a single adult to spiritual and relational wholeness is provided through biblical teaching, prayer and fellowship. Finally, we believe in releasing single adults to discover and follow God’s plan for their lives. Visit the A/G Singles website by clicking on the icon to the right.

Senior Adults
Pastor Gene Forehand
gl4hand@north-highland.org

The Senior Adult Ministry is an integral part of the church. This very active group meets for Bible Study each Wednesday morning at 10:00 under the direction of Pastor Gene Forehand. It is a time of refreshing with testimonials, prayer, singing and teaching.

Activities are planned throughout the year that keeps this group on the move. All that needs to be said is “load up" and the bus is filled and on its way. One of their favorite trips is to the Senior Adult Retreat at Lake Louise in Toccoa, GA. This is a gorgeous place to visit when the leaves are changing color … and shopping is always part of this trip.

Needless to say, they are a very active group. Senior adults are the fastest growing segment of our society.  Primeline is the national A/G website designed for senior adults. It is full of helpful tips, resources, articles and links dealing with ministry, health, finances and practical living for today's seniors. Included also is information on how to subscribe to, our free senior adult ministries newsletter.
